When a new door makes more sense than another repair
If you keep paying for repairs on the same door, or the damage is spread across several panels instead of one, a new door usually costs less over time. Yuma is a hot climate with long cooling seasons (climate zone 2B), so the door gets used through a lot of hard months. A door you're already nursing along is the one to replace.
If only one part is the problem, we'll tell you that and fix just that part.
How we install your new door
We measure the opening with a tape measure and set each section with a level, so the door hangs square. Fasteners go in with a drill and a socket wrench kit.
The spring and cable assembly is installed using the instructions supplied for that particular spring system. Torsion-spring assembly is work for a professional, and we handle it ourselves. We don't leave it for you to finish.
If an opener is part of the job, we reinforce the top section of the door before the opener is attached to it. The opener pulls on that section every time the door moves, so it gets reinforced first.

What a new door costs
A single garage door, installed, runs from $700 to $2700. Phone us and we'll talk through where a door like yours usually falls in that spread. Once we've seen the opening and know which door is going in, we set the firm price.
The door you pick moves the price the most. Adding an opener adds work too, because the top section has to be reinforced first.
Getting Started Is Simple
Spelled out, this is what gets done:
- Install the supplied vertical track over the rollers, fasten its brackets to the jambs and align both sides.
- Fit the horizontal tracks over the top rollers and secure rear hangers to the ceiling framing; brace the tracks and check that they are square to the door.
